In its fourth year, Art All Night Minnesota Ave is returning on Friday, September 23rd, 2022. Each participating neighborhood is a catalyst for corridor revitalization by highlighting music, visual and performing arts, activating both indoor and outdoor public and private spaces, bringing new foot traffic to small and local businesses within the corridor, and bringing an increase in business sales compared to a typical weekend night.
Our theme this year is Celebrate Minnesota Ave! We want to bring the people back into the streets and into our local businesses, having personal interaction & enjoying the arts, music, craft & activities together!
This festival is hosted by Mayor Muriel Bowser in partnership with participating Main Streets and Business Improvement Districts, with support from the D.C. Commission on the Arts & Humanities and the D.C. Department of Small and Local Business Development Main Street neighborhoods.
Please visit DC Art All Night for updates and more information!

On September, 24 2021, Minnesota Avenue Main Street (MAMS) joined Mayor Bowser's Art All Night festival. MAMS partners with the Ward 7 community to celebrate our rich history in the arts, with special performances and interactive activities. Businesses located along the Minnesota Avenue NE corridor participated by offering special promotions and providing discounts.
We swung the night away with D.C. Old School Classics, ranging from R&B Soul, Caribbean, Latin & Go-Go! Select vendors also joined the festivities and sold their unique, locally made products.
Artists helped transform an empty space into a creative funhouse – art, live DJ music, graffiti, body painting & more!
Patrons enjoyed tasty bites while listening to live syncopated rhythms at Sala Thai.
In September of 2020, MAMS led the virtual celebration of the Minnesota Avenue community's engagement in Art All Night. While the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the community from coming together in person, the digital programming showcased food recipes, hair design, murals, and more, thereby honoring local influential artists and small businesses.
